How it all began…

Before becoming a work-from-home mom, I spent years in the corporate world — chasing deadlines, commuting daily, and juggling long hours. When the pandemic hit, everything changed. Like many, I wanted stability, but also the freedom to be closer to home and family.

Freelancing felt uncertain at first. I doubted myself, unsure if I could really make it work. But then I met my first client — someone who believed in me before I fully believed in myself. Her kind words and trust in my work gave me the confidence to keep going.

Since then, I’ve embraced freelancing wholeheartedly. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been worth it. Working from home while being a mom has its challenges — some days are messy, exhausting, and full of doubts. But I’ve learned that it’s okay to struggle. What matters most is showing up, doing your best, and remembering why you started.

Now, I’m not just working from home — I’m building a career that gives me freedom, fulfillment, and time with the people I love most. And through The VA Mom, I hope to inspire other moms to take that first brave step too — even if it’s imperfect, even if it’s scary, because it’s always worth it in the end.
